Case 21-2012.

The article describes the case of a 27-year-old man who was seen in an endocrinology clinic because of fatigue, myalgias, weakness, weight loss and loss of libido. Thirteen months prior to presentation, the patient lost 36.3 kilograms in 10 months through aerobics and calorie-restricted diet. Two months before evaluation, he developed arm weakness, numbness and aching in his legs, decreased libido with loss of morning erections and a faint lacy rash on his legs.
