Abstract
- The article offers tips on how gardeners can maximize the virtues of clay soil and minimize its faults. It suggests that compost is a great amendment for clay soils as compost is key to changing the structure of clay soils. The article also informs how to evaluate soil texture, which is the relative proportion of sand, silt and clay properties.
