Abstract

The thermophysical and viscoelastic properties of blends of linear polymer PU and PS formed in situ at various initial components ratio and kinetic conditions of their formation have been studied. Comparison with the same properties of PU-PMMA blends with the identical nature of poly(urethane) component has been done. It is shown that the phase structure of blends of linear polymers formed in situ substantially is defined by the chemical nature of the component formed by radical polymerisation that is caused by it's various compatibility with PU component.
