Abstract
- The article focuses on the financial struggles of single mothers in the U.S. Around 30% of Black kids reportedly live in single-parent households headed by women. The U.S. Census Bureau reveals that around 47% of parents owed child support in 2007 received the full amount, while almost 24% got none. Pursuing child support is said to be a means to equitably meet a child's needs. Single moms are urged to be diligent about managing their finances because their kids' well-being depends on it.
