Abstract

We investigate interpolatory multiscale transformations for functions between manifolds which are based on interpolatory subdivision rules. We characterize the Hölder-Zygmund smoothness of a function between manifolds in terms of the coefficient decay w.r.t. this multiscale transform. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
