Abstract
- Argues that U.S. courts should no longer conceptualize annulment as a separate and independent legal procedure, but as a possible remedy for the proposed wrongful adoption tort. Harm suffered by adopting families because of the general lack of information about adoptees; Description and critique of the legal devices that allegedly protect the rights of adopting parents; Discussion on the proposed wrongful adoption tort that integrates the legal devices into one unified proceeding.
