Abstract

The article offers criticism on the book "Imitations of Horace" by English poet Alexander Pope, including the poems "To Fortescue" and "Windsor Forest." The author looks at various interpretations of the poetry, as well as the meaning of mirrors in the poems and the significance of glass in Horatian poetry.
