Abstract

The article discusses the contribution of internal standard (IS) to the improvement of data results from liquid chromatography (LC) analysis. It says that an IS will be beneficial if there are multiple sample preparation steps. It also offers tips on some areas wherein an IS is not effective in enhancing LC method performance.
