Abstract
- A literary critique of the play "The Long Christmas Ride Home" by Paula Vogel is presented, in which the author discusses how the play portrays time, modernity, and adapts the Thornton Wilder plays "Trenton and Camden" and "The Long Christmas Dinner." The author describes Japanese Nō drama, Bunraku puppet theater, and ghosts in literature. The author mentions how the play depicts the disease AIDS, nostalgia, and belief.
