Towards ending preventable child deaths.

The article discusses progress achieved in reducing child mortality rate across the world. He comments that rate has declined in 2010 as compared to 1990. A forum co-convened by Government of India, Ethiopia and the U.S will be held in Washington, DC in June 14-15, 2012 on child death prevention. United Nations Children's Fund suggested that focusing mortality in disadvantaged population and children's under five can help to increase the efficiency of interventions in child mortality.
