Abstract: Discusses the results of specific heat, electrical resistance and magnetic susceptibility measurements on the heavy fermion system CePtSi and compares it to CeRuSi. Preparation of polycrystalline samples; Electrical resistance measured by the alternating current four-lead method; Possible occurrence of antiferromagnetism.
