Abstract
- Studies surfaces of platinum, palladium and nickel metals and metal oxides treated with arsine at room temperature with x-ray photoemission spectroscopy. Preparation of fresh platinum, palladium and nickel metal surfaces by vapor deposition of the metal onto a substrate of either the same material; EFfects of the arsine on the valence band of palladium and nickel; Implication of the presence of arsenic in the zero valent state on the exposed metal surfaces.
