Presents a study which investigated the effect of oxygen loss on the luminescence of YBa[sub2]Cu[sub3]O[sub7-x] using cathodoluminescence in the scanning electron microscope and by Raman microprobe measurements. Experimental method; Results and discussion; Conclusions.
