Abstract

The article discusses a study which aims to examine the feasibility and clinical outcomes of endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) for early gastric cancer (EGC) in a remnant stomach and gastric tube. The study showed that en bloc resection rates for lesions within the expanded and standard indication were 93% and 100%, respectively. Further, it indicated that the perforation rate was significantly higher compared to that of ESD in a whole stomach.
