Abstract

Presents a study that designed, built and tested a pulsed gas-injection electromagnetic coaxial plasma gun driven by a capacitor bank. Components of the outer electrode or cathode of the coaxial gun; Approximate capacitor discharge parameters for the lower puff-gas-valve system; Possible complication in obtaining data from magnetic probes inserted in the plasma flow region.
