Abstract
- The article discusses the value of applying benefit cost-analysis (BCA) for transportation agencies. BCA can reportedly be used as an evaluation tool to assess the feasibility of the project and to determine which of the projects can give the best return-on-investment (ROI). The challenge in conducting BCA is how to find the right project to fit a limited funding. The six-step process include an evaluation of the problem, identification of alternatives, and forecasting performance.
