Abstract
- The article presents information on how the mathematical practices, included in the Common Core State Standards for Mathematics (CCSSM), help students in learning mathematical reasoning and skills, like integer addition and subtraction. These practices include reason abstractly and quantitatively, model with mathematics, use appropriate tools and attend to precision.
