Abstract

The article focuses on the negligent homicide trial of James Lomma regarding the deaths of two construction workers due to the collapse of a Kodiak tower crane owned by Lomma's construction equipment rental firm at a building site in Manhattan, New York, in 2008. Lomma's attorneys are scheduled to present several forensic engineers in April 2012 to testify that the structural failure of the crane was not a result of negligence.
