Instruments for cataract surgery: results from our survey.

The article discusses the results of a survey regarding the instruments for the surgery of cataract. According to the results, the daily care of the instruments changed throughout the responding eye units. It says that almost all of the surveyed eye units had someone who takes charge of the consumables and instruments. Moreover, the survey revealed that only few among the low-volume eye units surveyed used ultrasound cleaning because of its expensiveness.
