Abstract
- Abstract: A new glucoside of hederagenic acid, hederagenic acid-28-O-β-D-glucopyranoside, together with two known triterpenoids and six known triterpenoid saponins, was isolated from the roots of Kalopanax septemlobus (Thunb.) Koidz. Their structures were identified as hederagenic acid-28-O-β-D-glucopyranoside (1), hederagenic acid (2), hederagenin (3), hederagenin-28-O-β-D-glucopyranoside (4), β-hederin (5), kalopanaxsaponin A (6), 3-O-α-L-arabinopyranosyl-arjunolic acid-28-O-α-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1→4)-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl-(1→6)-O-β-D-gluco pyranoside (7), kalopanaxsaponin B (8) and kalopanaxsaponin H (9) on the basis of spectroscopic analysis and chemical properties.
