This paper aims to elaborate on a virtually unknown aspect: asscess to state juristdiction to determine or solve conflicts related to elective provedures, especially during the nineteenth century and some in the twentieth century. The relevant aspect of this research is to show for the first time that befor the existence of the Electoral Tribunal of Judicial Power and its predecessors (the Electoral Diputes Tribunal and the Federal Electoral Tribunal) Mexican judges hear matters related to the election issue.
