Abstract: Abstract: Asymmetric hydrogenation of tetrasubstituted olefins of cyclic β-(arylsulfonamido)acrylates produces the corresponding cyclic β-(arylsulfonamido)propionates using Pd(OCOCF3)2/diphosphine complexes as catalysts in the presence of TFA with up to 96% ee. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]
