Abstract
- The article presents the study on the effects of simultaneous exposure to benzene and ethanol on benzene metabolism. It states that benzene metabolism in mice was examined by measuring thioether excretion in urine which is a simple and inexpensive method for routine use. It mentions that simultaneous exposure to benzene and ethanol resulted to a significant decrease in urinary thioether excretion.
