Abstract
- The article analyzes the political theology given by German theologian Johannes Baptist Metz. It is stated that, within the critical reason of the enlightenment, Metz tried to develop the socio-political dimension and democratic aspirations. It is stated that, at the heart of the evaluation of the secular done by Metz lies his concept of Christology according to which in Jesus Christ the world is accepted by God with an eschatological definitiveness.
