Abstract
- In this article, the author comments on the study conducted by researcher T. Stockwell and colleagues on the impact of taxation to redress alcohol-related harms. He mentions that taxation on alcohol provides a revenue stream for government which can be helpful for prevention and treatment programmes. He also mentions the minimum price approach raises revenue would be benefited to alcohol producers and retailers.
