25 year trends in first time hospitalisation for acute myocardial infarction, subsequent short and long term mortality, and the prognostic impact of sex and comorbidity: a Danish nationwide cohort study.

The article presents a research study on the incidence of acute myocardial infarction in Denmark from 1984 until 2008. It examines how comorbity and sex have affected the prognosis of the disease. It says that first time hospitalisation rate for subsequent short-term mortality and myocardial infarction both declined by almost half between 1984 and 2008.
