Abstract
- The article presents a study which examines the roles of polyphenolic hydroxyls in certain reported tyrosinase inhibitors. It examines 19 new compounds and 41 known compounds including turmeric, aromatic aldehydes and cyclohexanone. Result suggests that polyphenolic curcumin analogs serve as lead compounds for further design of new tyrosine inhibitors.
