Abstract

The article discusses a court case in the U.S. involving Robert A. Hodges, a guarantor of a debt his company Laminate Kingdom, LLC (Laminate) owed to Relational, LLC (Relational) who went home to Great Britain. It notes that the district court entered a default judgment for Relational when Hodges failed to appear during the hearing. An action was filed by Relational to enforce the judgment in the British court. Hodges then filed a motion to vacate the default judgment.
