Abstract
- The Rolling Stones are marking the band's 50th anniversary with a new book, their publisher is expected to announce on Friday. Hyperion will release ''The Rolling Stones at Fifty,'' a ''photographic autobiography'' with images that have not been seen before and new text from the band. The book drew from the archive of The Daily Mirror in London, the largest collection of Rolling Stones photography, the publisher said. It is scheduled for release in the United States and Canada in the fall. Ellen Archer, the president and publisher of Hyperion, said in a statement: ''An anniversary such as this calls for an amazing book. Mick, Keith, Charlie and Ronnie have been hard at work -- approaching the book's content from every conceivable angle -- to make it so.'' [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
