Den Holocaust erzählen? Historiographie zwischen wissenschaftlicher Empirie und narrativer Kreativität.

The article reports on a conference on the challenges of the historical and narrative representation of the Holocaust, held from June 9-11, 2011, in Jena, Germany. The conference consisted of two panels that discussed the books "Nazi Germany and the Jews: The Years of Extermination" by Saul Friedländer and "Ordinary Men" and "Remembering Survival" by Christopher Browning. It also featured a panel discussion about the historiography of the Holocaust and 20th-century history more broadly.
