Abstract

Hyperimmunoglobulin E recurrent infection syndrome (HIES) is characterized by recurrent skin and lung infections, eczema, elevated serum immunoglobulin E (IgE) levels (>2000 IU/mL), various connective tissue, skeletal, and vascular abnormalities.
