Abstract

Pseudoaneurysms arising from the visceral arteries are rare. We present 2 patients who developed pseudoaneurysms arising from branches of the superior mesenteric artery (SMA) following laparoscopic appendicectomy. Both cases were successfully treated by endovascular embolization. The diagnosis and management of SMA branch pseudoaneurysms are discussed. [ABSTRACT FROM PUBLISHER]
