Abstract

The article discusses several types of bulbs. It explains how the lightbulbs improved by inventor Thomas Edison in 1800s worked as well as their life spa and energy efficiency. The halogen incandescent bulb are made of strong quartz-glass shells surrounding tungsten, halogen gas and filaments. The compact fluorescent lights (CFL) are gas-emitted ultraviolet light that causes the phosphor coating of a tube to glow.
