Fusion Versus Nonoperative Management for Chronic Low Back Pain.

The article presents a review aimed at determining whether sociologic and demographic factors change a fusion's effect against nonoperative management in patients with chronic low back pain (CLBP). The study method used a systematic review of the literature focused on randomized controlled trials. The article also discusses the review's results, conclusion, and clinical recommendations which suggest that sociodemographic factors be considered when making treatment decisions for CLBP patients.
