Abstract

The article discusses the online-coupled COSMO-ART regional chemistry transport model used to evaluate trace gases and aerosols over the European area. It features several measurements to assess the effectivity of the model which include the long-term station observations, distribution from field campaigns, and remote sensing products. It reports that aerosols affect the climate in several changes including radiation budget, atmospheric stratification changes, and changes in cloud environment.
