Abstract
- The article presents the results of a study which investigated the effect of exercise intensity upon perceived exertion during multi-set resistance training. An overview of related previous research is provided, detailing a drop in the intensity between sets is required to maintain the same level of perceived exertion. Details of the experiment protocol are also presented, including use interval 1-repetition maximum test sessions and the OMNI Resistance Exercise Scale.
