Abstract

Presents a study on the effectiveness of the aerodynamic improvement of a high-alpha airfoil, through the use of six different oscillating modes of flap motion. Importance of flow separation in the study of fluid mechanics; Description of the wind tunnel used for the study; Details on testing which was conducted; Reference to experimental results; Discussion on these results; Conclusion arrived at based on the results.
