Abstract

The article focuses on the factors contributing to the return of the Jewish philosophy of Maimonideanism. The author discusses the stabilization of the process of secularization which begun with Spinoza, while showing no signs of abating, had evidently stabilized, and it now seems that religion, though battered and crippled, is not doomed. They have also mentioned the changes in the attitudes of contemporary philosophers to the approach of early thinkers. They also provide information about the impact of Zionism on Maimonideanism and the historical background of Maimonides.
