Outcomes for Single-Level Lumbar Fusion.

The article presents a retrospective study which aims to identify the risk of repeat fusion and the medical costs for single-level lumbar fusion with the use of bone morphogenetic protein (BMP). Findings reveal that BMP was associated in the decline of repeat fusion risk by 1.1%. Meanwhile, the cost analysis determined the link of BMP in the increased expenditure for surgical operation.
