Osteoid Osteoma of the Mobile Spine.

The article presents a retrospective review which examines the effectiveness of various techniques for the treatment of osteoid osteoma. The study analyzed 81 patients with osteoid osteoma who were treated with intralesional excision utilizing conventional or minimally invasive approach such as video-assisted endoscopy, microscope, and percutaneous radiofrequency coagulation. The study concluded that conventional excision procedure is a reliable treatment for the disease with low morbidity rate.
