Abstract
- The authors discuss a study which has identified that the odds ratio of health status, low quality of family relationships and low academic performance is high among children and teenagers with low muscular fitness in Spain. They state that standardized measures for standing long jump test and throw basketball test have allowed for the computation of a muscular fitness index. The authors note that a condition beyond the absence of disease can be described by psychological positive health.
