NUCLEAR WEAPONS CONVENTION.

Information on the all-party parliamentary convention regarding the disarmament of nuclear weapons held in the Parliament Building in Ottawa, Ontario on December 5, 2011 is presented. Topics include the motion passed by the House of Commons concerning the negotiations for a convention on nuclear weapons, the launch of a diplomatic initiative, and elimination of nuclear weapons. The convention featured several parliamentary officials including Scott Armstrong, John McKay, and Ellen Michelson.
