The Fontana Paradoxical Reflex?

The authors discusses the deflation cough due to deep lung deflations. They describe the possible clinical importance of deflation cough, the general role of paradoxical reflexes in the body and how the reflex should be self-limiting. They propose that observation of deflation cough need to be included in future tests, if essential with encouragement of breathing out a bit more.
