Abstract

The article reports that for next-generation cellular networks operators are relying on self-organizing networks (SONs). ReVerb Comunicatiobns Networks has released a white paper focused on antenna remote-electrical-tilt (RET)-based SON solutions. The paper begins by discussing load balancing, which aims to spread uniformly traffic among neighboring cells to the fullest extent possible.
