Abstract
- The article focuses on the research regarding the eating patterns of pigs in large-group, auto-sort (LGAS) pens, particularly the eating behavior and productivity. It says that the study was conducted at the Prairie Swine Centre Inc. (PSC), wherein the pigs were housed in two experimental rooms with different food court design. Furthermore, the results showed that pigs in LGAS pens have fewer but longer meals compared to conventional finishing pens.
