Abstract

The article presents an analysis of the international relations between India and China as of 2011. Introductory details are given overviewing Indian-Chinese relations since the 1960s, noting persistent tensions over the disputed territorial borders of the Tibetan region and the publicity of political opposition to Chinese actions. The author then asserts that India, particularly its military authority structure, is becoming more cautious about potential Chinese military expansion. Both practical and theoretical elements of Sino-Indian relations are described within this context.
