Abstract
- The article discusses the value of online portal companies to Australian investors as of July 2011. It cites the advantages of such companies, which include free cash flow, high returns on investment, and low debt, reports that many tend to be overpriced to anticipate market equity adjustments, and presents a list of the stock values of some. It recommends some of these, including Seek and Carsales.com, but provides mixed reviews for the REA Group.
