- The article provides information on the publishing history of "Sunbird," an Australian journal of ornithology produced since March 1970 by the Birds Queensland. Presented are the list of editors and assistant editors and basic information including its editorial policy, format, and rules on subscription and the submission and selection of material. Mentioned is its digital publication since December 2008 and the efforts to make earlier issues available online.
