Improving Educational Accountability in Colorado.

The article reports on the partnership between the Colorado Department of Education (CDE) and the National Center for the Improvement of Educational Assessment Inc. (NCIEA) to develop a method that can improve student's performance. The result is the creation of the Colorado Growth Model which focuses on the individual academic development of students and the maintenance of good performance. Furthermore, the CDE adopted the SchoolView project which integrates instructional data with student-specific data to enhance data visualization and communication.
