Investigates the association of the presence of antibody to hepatitis B core antigen in donor blood and the development of hepatitis in recipients of that blood. Findings of the serologic tests for alanine aminotransferase, aspartate aminotransferase and bilirubin levels; Classification of hepatitis; Relationship of transfusion volume to recipient hepatitis events.
